Docent takes group on tour at evening event |
Rio Grande's exhibit had some unique features. A stack of shoes, similar to museum displays of Holocaust survivor
shoes, as well as signs annotating the display, greeted visitors as they entered the theater area. Art and photography
students the previous week had drawn and taken pictures of three local Holocaust survivors who visited their school, and these,
too were displayed. An evening event allowed parents and neighbors to view the exhibit. The Albuquerque Journal
featured the school's exhibit in their West Side edition.
